About Crepeau Docks
Crepeau Docks was founded by welder, Ed Crepeau in 1948. From its beginning, Crepeau Docks has been based near Lake Minnetonka serving the local community with reliable products and quality service.
In the 1960s, Rick Niccum worked for the Crepeaus and purchased the company from them in 1987. In 2004, the transition from father to son took place with Rick handing the reins to his son, Air Force veteran, Tim Niccum. Tim is the current owner of Crepeau Docks and continues to maintain the trust and reputation of the community.
Crepeau Docks manufactures all dock, boathouse, and boat lift components out of their Maple Plain facility. Keeping manufacturing local, they are able to maintain a high quality standard on all products. They look forward to providing all customers with the best dock, boathouse, and boat lift products and services for years to come.

Meet the Owner
Tim Niccum
I grew up on Lake Minnetonka and started working on docks for my dad when I was 13 years old. After high school, I served in the US Air Force as a Crew Chief on B-1 Bombers before coming back to the community that I love. I returned to the Lake Minnetonka area, started a family, and began working on the lake again.
I took over operations of Crepeau Docks from my dad in 2004. Since taking over, I have been dedicated to maintaining our image as an honest company that the community has trusted for generations. We look forward to creating quality products that continue to give people enjoyment of the lake that has given us so much.
I enjoy spending time with my wife, Heather, and our three kids in the hockey rink and traveling when I’m not working.

Meet the Owner
Charlie Riley
I have lived on or near lake Minnetonka my whole life, working and fishing all 100 miles of shoreline. When I was 15, I started working on docks for Tim’s dad, and it became a second home. Following high school, I served in the US Army before returning to the community.
After returning from the Army, I was drawn back to the lake and started working on docks again. The best part about the job is being able to work on the lake—being outside in the fresh air with new scenery every couple hours. A lot of people ask how we do it year after year, and usually the answer is ”because I love it!”
When I am not working on the lake, I love to ice fish and spend time with my wife Sarah and our two kids at our cabin in the North Woods.
